The Weston County Children's Center/ Region III Developmental Services

                                                                                                                                                                                            has several requirements in the process of hiring new staff.  New staff must be willing to complete the following:

  • Provide a completed employment application and resume with three letters of reference
  • Complete a criminal background check, including fingerprinting
  • Complete a Tuberculous test
  • For Executive Directors, a physical exam is required with physician's statement that the applicant is physically and mentally able to care for young children
  • Be approved for employment by the Board of Directors

Full-Time Employees

                                                      working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for the following benefits:

  • Paid time off based on qualifying years, months, and hours worked
  • Group health, dental, and vision insurance.  WCCC/Region III pays 80% of employee premium
  • Retirement through the Wyoming Retirement System.  WCCC/Region III pays 8.25% of employee gross wages
  • Employee rate child care
  • Professional liability insurance for employees working in special education and certified through the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board (PTSB)

                                                        working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for the following benifits:

  • Pro-rated paid time off benefit
  • Employee rate child care
